Terms of Service

Kaziva helps you create tailored job-application materials — resumes, cover letters, screening answers, fit scores, and upskilling plans — generated from information you provide. The Service is provided on an ongoing basis and may change over time, including during our beta period.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Kaziva. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping your account secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

• Kaziva uses credits to meter usage. One credit is consumed per application run. New accounts receive a limited number of free trial credits.
• Paid subscriptions grant a monthly allowance of credits for the plan you choose. Billing is handled by our payments provider and renews automatically until cancelled.
• If an application run fails, the credit for that run is refunded to your balance.
• You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals. Except where required by law or stated at purchase, payments are non-refundable.
• We may change plans, pricing, or credit allowances on a going-forward basis, with notice for material changes.

You retain ownership of the information you provide and of the documents Kaziva generates for you. You grant us a limited licence to process your information solely to provide the Service (including sending it to the AI providers described in our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring you have the right to use it.

Kaziva is built to draft only from your real experience and to flag content that reads like an unsupported claim. Even so, AI output can contain errors or omissions. Every document is a draft for you to review, edit, and approve before you use it. You are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of anything you submit to an employer. Kaziva does not guarantee any particular job outcome, interview, or offer.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent purpose, including submitting false information to employers.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use the Service to violate the rights of others or applicable laws.
• Resell or misuse the Service or attempt to circumvent credit limits or billing.

The Service integrates third-party providers (for authentication, payments, AI, hosting, analytics, email, and feedback). Your use of those integrations may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kaziva will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Wisconsin, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
